📐 Scope and Apparatus Specifications

The method measures the removal of overglaze patterns from fine chinaware under accelerated conditions. Required apparatus includes 4-L stainless steel beakers with covers, stainless steel wire supports, and a steam bath maintaining 205 to 211°F (96 to 99.5°C). All test water must be Type IV reagent water per Specification D 1193.
